Pick-to-Light

Workflow Overview

Order Start

  • WMS triggers batch; tote scanned to initiate process.

Light Activation

  • Relevant modules illuminate, displaying pick quantity.

Guided Picking

  • Operator follows lights to pick items with minimal movement.

Confirmation

  • Pressing the confirm button deactivates the light and logs completion.

Sorting / Transfer

  • Picked items placed in the correct tote or sent to sorter for dispatch.

Order Completion

  • When all items for a bin are completed, the module indicates “Order Complete,” triggering the next process (packing, dispatch, etc.).

Update & Reset

  • WMS updates inventory; zones reset or flagged for replenishment.
